From Tom:

Many fractional CFOs bring deep finance function experience, which often means a focus on operational compliance and retrospective reporting. My unique expertise, rooted in strategy, is different: I specialise in converting raw data into clear, immediate actions for business owners. This shifts the CFO function from a necessary cost to a demonstrable investment that drives high-value returns. One example of my work is howI have supported an IT services provide to get funding and now they are scaling to £4m revenue and will soon exit.
